Pakistan Marks 75th Death Anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah

We sincerely observe the 75th anniversary of the passing of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the founding father of our country, today, September 11th. At Mazar-e-Quaid in Karachi, prayers and Quran recitations will be held in celebration of this event.

On this day in 1948, just after guiding our country to independence, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah passed away.

President Dr. Arif Alvi has reaffirmed his commitment to implementing Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s vision of Pakistan as a modern Islamic welfare state. He stressed in his speech the value of upholding the core ideals established by the father of our country. In order to make Pakistan affluent, he emphasized the necessity of prioritizing the welfare of women, young people, and underprivileged groups as well as putting an emphasis on education and eradicating poverty.

Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar, the acting prime minister, emphasized in his speech that the greatest way to remember Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah is to work toward transforming Pakistan into an Islamic welfare state. He urged everyone to put aside differences and cooperate for Pakistan’s growth, particularly during trying times, while adhering to the values established by the founder of our country.
