Naseem Shah Injury Update from PCB

On Friday, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) provided an update regarding Naseem Shah’s ailment. Naseem Shah had a shoulder injury at the Asia Cup 2023 and is anticipated to miss three to four months of action.

He would therefore be unable to take part in the upcoming ICC World Cup in India in 2023. The PCB added that Naseem requires surgery and is anticipated to recover in three to four months after comprehensive medical evaluations and professional consultations.

Hasan Ali, a fast bowler, has replaced Naseem in the Pakistani team due to Naseem’s injury. When choosing the team for the ICC World Cup 2023, chief selector Inzamam-ul-Haq said that Naseem Shah is a crucial bowler for Pakistan and that they had few alternatives due to the injuries to other fast bowlers like Hasnain and Ihsanullah.
