The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources has mandated that federal employees will have the day off on Friday, September 29, 2023, in observance of the Prophet Mohammed’s (peace be upon him) birthday.
The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources said that the start of regular business hours will be on Monday, October 2.
On the 12th day of the Islamic month of Rabi Al Awwal, Muslims observe Milad un Nabi (Mawlid). As the Islamic community marks the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) on this day, it has immense spiritual significance.
