This honor is given in honour of his remarkable efforts to enhancing online banking. He is the sole recipient of this honor from Pakistan this year.
Mr. Larik rose to prominence for his innovative work at EMKAN Finance, a division of Alrahji Bank, one of the biggest Islamic banks in the world, which advanced digital banking and fintech (financial technology).
