In a ceremony in Beijing, a sculpture of Quaid-e-Azam, Muhammad Ali Jinnah, Pakistan’s founding father, was unveiled. The sculpture, which was made by Master Yuan Xikun, a Chinese sculptor, represents the ongoing friendship between Pakistan and China. Master Yuan Xikun is highly renowned for his expertise in sculpture, his support of environmental causes, and his many honors.
At Beijing Jintai Art Museum’s International Celebrities Sculpture Garden, he has created 25 statues of historical figures. During the occasion, Ambassador Moin ul Haque lauded Master Yuan’s artistic ability and attention to detail in producing this significant artwork.
The inauguration of Quaid-e-Azam’s sculpture in Beijing demonstrates the close ties and similar values between Pakistan and China while also paying tribute to Pakistan’s founding father.
