There won’t be any spectators at Pakistan’s opening exhibition game before the World Cup. This choice was taken owing to safety considerations by the Indian Cricket Board (BCCI).
Because local security agencies recommended it, the Friday match between Pakistan and New Zealand won’t have any spectators.
This choice was decided because there will likely be a lot of people in the city because of festivities that are taking place on the same day. Money will be returned to those who purchased match tickets. Prior to beginning their World Cup matches against the Netherlands three days later, Pakistan will play another exhibition game against Australia on October 3.
