Mickey Arthur joins the Pakistani World Cup team in 2023

An important development has occurred in Pakistan cricket with the return of Mickey Arthur, the team director, to the men’s cricket team in India. His homecoming was formally acknowledged by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) in a statement.

Although the PCB selected Arthur as the team’s director in April, his first availability to the team was constrained by his contractual responsibilities to Derbyshire. He consequently missed the Pakistani team’s series against Afghanistan in August and their series against Sri Lanka in July. Arthur was only able to participate in one game for the team during the most recent Asia Cup.

His return to the men’s national team, which is now playing in Hyderabad, India, is significant since it shows a renewed dedication to the group and its development. Arthur brings a wealth of coaching expertise to the table, and it is anticipated that his presence will improve the team’s performance and growth.

Having a seasoned coach like Mickey Arthur back in a more significant capacity is encouraging for Pakistan as they continue to compete on the international cricket arena and shows the PCB’s commitment to developing a successful cricket squad.
