It appears that the Pakistani cricket squad would most likely receive their travel visas for India just a few days before the start of the ICC Men’s World Cup 2023 in India. The team’s visas had not yet arrived, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) had earlier informed the International Cricket Council (ICC). The ICC then requested that the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) expedite the visa application process.
According to sources, the Indian embassy in Pakistan is awaiting authorization from the Indian Ministry of Home Affairs before issuing visas. It’s important to note that out of the nine competing nations, Pakistan is the only squad whose visas have not yet arrived.
On September 29, Pakistan’s team will play a practice match against New Zealand in Hyderabad, India, after traveling from Dubai. It’s vital to note that Pakistan and India’s most recent Test match took place in 2007.
